hold your horses

Sorry lovelies for the false start (no mad recap just yet), but I just had to get this out there before it happens. On Saturday a few of us are having a garage sale at 5 Church St, it is looking pretty amazing so if you are in the region pop in and grab yourself something wonderful.

And now for something completely different, check out these beautiful, amusing and heartfelt images of some Old Finnish People with things on their heads, such a delight.

And this wonderful clip about Holding onto your children by Dr Gabor Maté, so very important and wise.
Oh and you have to (yes, I am being just a little bossy, but trust me it's worth it) go and read this beautiful and inspiring speech that Susan Weil from the Bellopy markets made at the Monsanto Protest, just go to the Bellopy facebook page and scroll down to the post marked 'My Monsanto Speech', yep it's that easy. She is one awesome human.

Okay, that's it for now.

    1. Oh hello there lovely, so great to hear from you, life is pretty good at the moment, albeit with a sprinkling of change of season sniffles. We are heading down the coast on the holidays, well from the wednesday just before your holidays, for a few days and then Sydney, would love to pop in if you are around. xxx

  2. Bugger. We were driving up the coast on Sunday, and could have stopped at the garage sale. That's what I get for not checking in with favorite blogs when we are traveling!

    1. NOOOOOOOO! Oh dear, yes it does pay to keep updated Jeni, but to ease your mind a lot of the stuff had sold on the Saturday but Sunday still held more than it's fair share of bargains. I think next time you are along the coast you should stop in for tea with us. xxx
